Our injury-hit ladies team were held to a 1-1 draw by stubborn Curzon Ashton in the FA Women’s Premier League (Midland Division One) this afternoon.
Becky Braithwaite put the Stagettes ahead on the half-hour mark, but the hosts struck back thanks to Saeed Yasmin’s equaliser in first half injury-time to earn a share of the spoils.
The Stagettes next match is at home to Radcliffe Olympic ladies on Wednesday 08 April (7.45pm).
