Retro programme cover to remember legends of 1974/75.
For our last home game of the campaign against Portsmouth on Saturday, we are pleased to announce that there will be a retro programme cover to celebrate the 40th anniversary of our first ever championship-winning season.
In 1974/75, one of the greatest Mansfield Town teams of all-time lifted the Fourth Division title, and several members of that squad are back at One Call Stadium to commemorate their great achievement, this weekend.
‘An Evening With’ style question and answer session will be held in the Kevin Bird Suite post-match, whilst the legends from yesteryear are also set to be paraded around the pitch prior to kick-off.
In the programme, we have a double-figure amount of pages dedicated to our old team and their exploits in 1974/75.
Programmes cost £3 and will be available from in and around One Call Stadium, from approximately two hours prior to the match.
