Youngsters aim for first victory of new season when they take on Scunthorpe United.
Our youth team will be hoping to register their first victory in the Football League Youth Alliance (North/East Division) tomorrow, when they entertain Scunthorpe United.The Stags have produced some good performances in recent matches, but haven’t been able to get the results that their efforts deserve.
Last weekend, our youngsters suffered spot-kick heartache as they bowed out of the Football League Youth Alliance Cup, losing 6-5 on penalties following a goalless draw at Rotherham United.
Tomorrow’s match will be played at the Worksop Van Hire Stadium, Clipstone. Kick-Off is at 11.00am.
Admission is £1 and a snack bar will be open serving hot and cold drinks and light refreshments.
