Four changes for Stanley match

4 October 2014

New signing Kieron Freeman included in starting line-up for visit of Accrington Stanley.

Defender Kieron Freeman will make his second debut for Mansfield Town in today’s Sky Bet League Two game with Accrington Stanley.

The 22-year-old, who enjoyed a spell on loan with us in the 2011/12 campaign, is one of four changes to manager Paul Cox’s starting line-up.

Freeman replaces Liam Marsden in the line-up, with Lee Beevers expected to move across to the right wing-back position as a result.

The other three changes see goalkeeper Sascha Studer included in favour of Dimitar Evtimov, whilst Fergus Bell replaces Reggie Lambe and tenacious midfielder Jamie McGuire comes in for Simon Heslop.

Our team is as follows: Studer, Sutton, Riley, Tafazolli, Beevers, Freeman, Bell, Murray, McGuire, Bingham, Rhead. Subs: Evtimov, Marsden, Fisher, Heslop, Thomas, Lambe, Palmer.

If you aren’t with us at One Call Stadium today, you can hear full-match commentary on Stags Player. Our regular commentary team of Martin Shaw and Nigel Pinnick will be on air from 2.50pm.
