Sportsman's Dinner: Dermot Gallagher - SOLD OUT!

We are pleased to announce that tickets for our Sportsman's Dinner with Dermot Gallagher on Thursday 11 September have sold out.

An official in the Football League since 1985, Dermot was amongst the first band of Referees on the commencement of the FA Premier League in 1992. He retired from the Premier League at the end of the 2006/2007 season. During this time he was also a FIFA referee for over nine years, officiating in 139 matches abroad.

Highlights of Dermot Gallagher’s career include all the major finals in England, FA Cup 1996, Charity Shield 1995, FA Trophy 1995 and Vase 1984 as well as numerous Champions League, European Internationals and World Cup matches. 

Since retiring from the professional ranks in 2007, Dermot is regularly seen officiating in TV events such as Premier League All Starts and The Masters football.

In May 2008, Dermot joined ITV1′s Beat The Star as a competition referee and for the 2008/09 season will be appearing as a weekly summariser on Sky Sports and Talk Sport.

The event will take place in the Kevin Bird Suite from 7.00pm and will also see a live a comedy act from our brand new Hoofers Comedy Club, as well as a two-course meal.
