We are pleased to announce that Paul Black, Ben Hutchinson and Lindon Meikle will all take part in a special charity match at One Call Stadium this weekend.
On Sunday lunchtime, a team representing Mansfield Town will lock horns with a team representing SSAFA (Soldiers, Sailors & Families Association). Kick-Off: 12noon.
The SSAFA team will be captained by former Stags' legend Phil Stant, and also feature former favourite Callum Lloyd.
Meanwhile, the Mansfield Town team, which is managed by our Commercial Manager, Paul Nyland, will include Paul Cox, Richard Cooper and chairman John Radford.
Our full squad is as follows: Dave McCarthy (Under 14s manager), Liam Marsden, Keiran Coupe (Equipment manager), Richard Cooper (First Team coach), Paul Black, John Radford (Chairman), Michael Merriman (Groundsman/Kit manager), Lindon Meikle, Chris Clements, Jack Thomas, Chris Bowman (Physiotherapist), Ben Hutchinson, Lee Stevenson, Paul Broughton (Stadium Director), Joe Fitzpatrick (Youth team).
The match is just the highlight of a great day for all the family, which will include a whole host of other activities.
Prior to the match, there will be live entertainment from Kirkby Brass Band, who are performing pitchside at 11.30am.
Afterwards, ‘Brothers of Soul’ will be providing post-match entertainment in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar between 3.00pm and 5.00pm, where food is also available.
