Pentagon renew car deal to help FITC

19 May 2014

Mansfield Town’s Football in the Community strengthen ties with Pentagon.

Our Football in the Community (FITC) team have strengthened their relationship with sponsors Pentagon, who have provided them with a brand new car.

Pentagon have worked closely with FITC for the past seven years – equipping them with essential transport which, as a result, enables FITC to reach into the heart of our local community and deliver football sessions.

The new vehicle, a brand new Vauxhall Zafiri, will be used to transport equipment to and from coaching sessions at various schools, and will be a huge help to FITC.

Without this support, FITC would simply not be able to reach out and deliver coaching sessions to as many children as they currently do.

FITC Community Director, Mark Hemingray said: “We’re very grateful to Pentagon for their continued support. They’ve been our main sponsors for last seven years and what they do for us is really appreciated.

“Without their level of support, it would be very difficult for us to deliver coaching sessions to so many children.”

Commercial Manager, Paul Nyland, added: “It’s great to have a community-partner like Pentagon supporting the club and our Football in the Community team. We hope to continue this successful partnership for many years to come.”

He added: “A big thank you also goes to Acorn Signs, who provided the graphics for the vehicle free-of-charge.”

FITC Director Mark Hemingray is pictured receiving the keys to the new vehicle from Frank Worboys of Pentagon Motor Group.
