We can confirm that we will face Grimsby Town in a pre-season friendly fixture.

The Mariners, who are managed by Paul Hurst, narrowly missed out on promotion to Sky Bet League Two last term – losing to Gateshead in the Conference Premier Play-Offs.
Our last meeting with Grimsby was back in March 2013. We secured a 2-0 win in front of 3,896 spectators at One Call Stadium thanks to goals from Matt Rhead and Adam Chapman.
Meanwhile, the scheduled friendly between Clipstone and a Mansfield Town XI, mainly consisting of youth players, will now take place on Saturday 12 July (3.00pm).
