Our youth team relinquished pole position in the FCYA (Midland Division) after a 1-0 defeat away at Solihull Moors today.
Having been unable to convert any of the several chances that they created, our young guns paid the price as Solihull scored a last-minute penalty to snatch maximum points.Â
As a result, title-rivals Ilkeston now move a point clear at the top of the table as they recorded a fourth straight success with a 5-0 victory at third-placed Chasetown.
Our youngsters will be hoping to bounce back from today’s setback when they face bottom-of-the-table Northampton Town next week.
