Our ladies team showed exceptional character as they came from two goals down to record a 3-2 victory over Leafield Athletic yesterday.
Goals by Mai Butler and Leigh Dugmore fired the hosts into a 2-0 lead, but the Stagettes fought back, with Jemma Douglas (2) and Georgina Unthank scoring to record three points.
The victory means the Stagettes have strengthened their grip on eighth position ahead of their final match of the campaign at Curzon Ashton on Sunday 06 April.
