Striker Ben Hutchinson is set to miss the rest of the season due to a recurrence of a hamstring injury.
The 26-year-old, who has made 18 appearances this term, suffered the injury in the early stages of last week’s FTD League Cup Semi-Final victory over Leicester City.
First Team Coach Micky Moore confirmed the news in an interview with the local press this morning.
“Unfortunately Ben pulled his hamstring in the reserve game against Leicester City,” said First Team Coach Micky Moore.
“It looks like he’s going to be [out injured] for six to eight weeks, so that could see him ruled out for the rest of the season, which is a big shame.”
Moore added: “It’s a big blow. Ben is a good player with a lot of experience and he will be missed.”
