Our first summer signing was unveiled and more friendlies were arranged. Catch up on another busy week with our regular column: ‘The Week in Words’.

MONDAY

The Sky Bet League Two line-up for the 2014/15 campaign was confirmed following Burton Albion’s defeat to Fleetwood Town in the Play-Off Final. To view the full list, click here.

TUESDAY

Defender Luke Jones was unveiled as our first summer signing – opting to join us from Sky Bet League Two rivals, Stevenage. For more on this story, click here.

Shortly after re-joining us, the centre-back, who was part of our title-winning squad in 2012/13, admitted he was ‘buzzing’ to be back at One Call Stadium. For more on this story, click here.
