England will be buoying with confidence following their 3-0 thrashing of Peru at Wembley last week, but they face another stiff test tonight when they go head-to-head with Ecuador.
Roy Hodgson’s Three Lions are currently in Miami on a two-match tour ahead of this summer’s World Cup Finals in Brazil, which begin in just nine days time.
Ecuador, who boast players such as Antonio Valencia, will be equally keen to put in a good performance and build momentum as they are also competing in this year’s tournament.
England last played Ecuador in the Last 16 of the 2006 World Cup in Germany – a match which we won 1-0 thanks to a pinpoint free-kick by David Beckham.
