Samuel Barlow and Peafield Lane Primary Schools celebrate success.
Youngsters from Samuel Barlow and Peafield Lane primary schools are celebrating after they reached the final of the inaugural Vauxhall Pentagon Cup last week.
The tournament, which is targeted at local primary schools for pupils in years three and four, took place on the 3G pitches at One Call Stadium and was hosted by our Football in the Community team.

Eight schools (Forest Town, Mansfield Academy, Mapplewells, Abbey, St Peters, Brierley Forest, Samuel Barlow and Peafield Lane) entered the competition and we would like to thank them all for participating.

Pupils from Samuel Barlow and Peafield Lane Schools excelled to reach the final of the competition, which will be played during the half-time interval at our pre-season friendly against Notts County.
We wish both schools good luck and look forward to seeing you on Saturday 12 July.
