Club launches website to help you make savings on your energy bills!
Mansfield Town have teamed up with local company, Ideal Energy, to launch www.stagsenergy.co.uk – a new price-comparison website designed to help you, our supporters, save money on your bills.
As well as great savings which can potentially be made, this is a great chance for you to help your football club, as any proceeds or commissions that are made come directly to us.
Doug Carroll, Managing Director of Ideal Energy, said: “Stags Energy is basically a price comparison website, where you can sign up and see what savings can be made on your gas and electricity bills at home.
“This benefits yourself, because very large savings can be made, and also Mansfield Town, as any proceeds or commissions that come back from it, go into the club.”
Paul Nyland, Mansfield Town Commercial Manager, said: “This will benefit Mansfield Town as everyone that goes onto the new website and changes energy supplier will earn the club £17.
“Therefore, if you change both your gas and electricity supplier, you could earn the club £34 commission. If you multiply that by a few thousand people, it turns into a good investment. But also not forgetting that you could save money, as I did, by saving £272 by making the switch.”
