Strong in the tackle and good in the air, Kyle Hempshall is an imposing centre-back who was an almost ever-present last term. 

The 17-year-old, whose strengths include heading, tackling and aggression, formed a solid back-three partnership with Jack Koczalski and Charlie Brownlie, collectively producing several good displays.

Hempshall was also on the score-sheet on his reserve team debut against Hartlepool United, which ended in a 3-1 victory.
