Web company gets behind Stags

17 January 2014

We are pleased to announce the signing of a new corporate sponsor.

Award winning E-commerce website developer and on-line marketing specialists, Purpose Media have signed a deal for the remainder of 2014 which will see them benefit from a pitch side advertising board and a SkyBet League Two match sponsorship.

Purpose Media was founded in 2009 and began trading from Mansfield I-centre before purchasing their own offices at The Village, just off Junction 28 of the M1. The company now employs ten staff and has been successful in winning a number of local business awards including apprentice of the year, team of the year and entrepreneur of the year.

Commenting Managing Director, Matt Wheatcroft said, “I used to play lots of football before breaking my leg badly which means I am more of spectator now. As the Stags are my local team have always followed their progress and now that I am running my own business I believe it is important to support the local community.”

Mansfield Town’s Commercial Manager, Paul Nyland, added: “Being back in the Football League has definitely increased interest from local business wanting to benefit from being linked to the club and the profile raising activities we offer. A pitch side board is viewed by thousands of local people each year, plus the board may be seen on local and national television during football highlights’ programmes.”
