Supporters attending today’s Sky Bet League Two match with Wycombe Wanderers may notice that One Call Stadium has had a fresh lick of paint.
The work has been carried out free-of-charge during the past week by local painting and decorating firm Riley & Co, who are big supporters of the club.
“We’ve been working around One Call Stadium and helping to tidy it up,” said company director Steve Devine-Bradbury (pictured above with Commercial Manager, Paul Nyland).
“When you look at the stadium, there hasn’t really been anything done for a few years in terms of decorating. It’s something that needed doing and it’ll make the stadium look better.
“We hope to make the experience [of visiting the ground] a bit more pleasurable for supporters.”
When asked what the biggest job during was during the process, Steve replied: “It was painting the block work, easily. It can take gallons of paint, but after you have put a few coats on, it looks good.”
Everyone at the club would like to express a big thank you to Riley & Co for their sterling efforts.
