Sheffield FC match called off due to waterlogged pitch
Our youth team's opening match in the H-K-L North Midlands Shield against Sheffield FC has been postponed due a waterlogged pitch.
A local referee deemed the surface at the Worksop Van Hire Stadium unfit for action, following an inspection at 4.00pm this afternoon.
As previously announced, we have been drawn in Group Two for the Shield competition alongside Sheffield FC, Dunkirk, Handsworth and Heanor Town.Â
