Tonight: 90s disco in the SPSB

7 February 2014

Friday 07 February. 8.00pm. Don't miss out!

Join us in the Sandy Pate Sports Bar tonight for what promises to be another stunning night of entertainment!

We are rewinding back to the 1990s – a decade which saw Gazza's tears, Labour romp to a landslide victory in the general election, England suffer penalty shoot-out heartbreak on three occasions, and British music go global – for a special 90s themed disco.

Several great British bands emerged in the 90s including Pulp, Blur, Oasis, Suede, Radiohead, the Lightning Seeds, Take That and the Spice Girls, whilst there were also many classic songs written.

Who can forget ‘Angels’ by Robbie Williams, ‘Bittersweet Symphony’ by The Verve, or that catchy football theme by the Lightning Seeds which was ever so popular at Euro 1996.

The 90s was a superb decade for fashion (who can forget those Levi Jeans adverts) and music, so re-kindle many memories and join us tomorrow night.

We’ll be playing classic hits from 8.00pm onwards, but if you fancy a bite to eat then join us earlier in the day and take advantage of our ‘Big Catch Friday’ offer where you can get two classic ‘Fish, Chips & Mushy Peas’ meals for £10.
