Our youth team returned to winning ways in the Football Conference Youth Alliance (Midland Division) with a comfortable 2-0 victory over Kidderminster Harriers at Kirklington Road.On an afternoon filled with positives, George Holloway opened the scoring with a blistering low drive on 37 minutes, before Luke Thomas sealed the win with a 20-yard effort in the second half.
Frazer Hampson had an excellent game to keep the Stags’ first clean-sheet in youth league action since late-September, whilst defender Jack Koczalski completed over an hour, following a recent spell on the sidelines through injury.
Our youngsters’ next match is in the Football League Youth Alliance (North/East Division) away to Hartlepool United on Saturday 06 December.
