Stags give out presents to Fountaindale School

12 December 2014

Two of our first team players recently delivered presents to a local school, in conjunction with commercial partners Hall-Fast.

Commenting on the visit, dubbed the North Notts Community programme and arranged by Hall-Fast Industrial Supplies, McGuire added:  "I have been made aware of the work that

"A club likes ours is heavily involved with our community and we are only too willing to be able to 'give something back.'"

"Seeing the smiles on the kids' faces when we handed them presents was priceless. They were 'made up' by our visit, along with the lads from Nottingham Rugby Club and Sheffield Steelers.

Jamie McGuire told www.mansfieldtown.net: "It was a massive honour for me and Sascha to represent the football club by visiting local kids at Fountaindale.

The Stags duo also helped the children put up a Christmas Tree.

Midfielder Jamie McGuire and goalkeeper Sascha Studer teamed up with players from Nottingham Rugby Club and Sheffield Steelers to hand out presents to the kids at Fountaindale School in Mansfield.

"His fundraising efforts for Fountaindale and other charities are relentless and the local area should be proud to have a local businessman with such commitment to local causes."

Malcom Hall [of Hall-Fast] does for charities in the community.
