Five changes to starting xi

13 December 2014

Five changes to the Stags’ starting line-up for our fixture with Cheltenham Town.

Manager Adam Murray has made five changes to his starting xi for this afternoon’s game with Cheltenham Town at One Call Stadium.

Dimitar Evtimov is recalled to the side for the first time since our defeat at Stevenage in late-September, replacing Sascha Studer between the sticks.

Ryan Tafazolli will skipper the side in the absence of Martin Riley, who misses out through injury and he is partnered by Luke Waterfall. Ritchie Sutton slots in at right-back with Kieron Freeman at left-back.

The centre-midfield pairing is the same as last week – Chris Clements and Simon Heslop, but Junior Brown comes in on the left-wing, with Reggie Lambe on the right side.

Fergus Bell starts in an attacking midfield role, with Vadaine Oliver, who scored the winner in our 1-0 win over Plymouth Argyle last month, up front.

Kick-Off is at 3.00pm and you can hear full-match commentary on Stags Player.

Team: Evtimov, Sutton, Tafazolli (c), Waterfall, Freeman, Lambe, Clements, Heslop, Brown, Bell, Oliver. Subs: Rhead, Bingham, McGuire, Palmer, Beevers, Taylor, Bishop.
