Five debutants in starting line-up for curtain-raiser to new campaign.
Manager Paul Cox has named five debutants in his starting line-up for today’s Sky Bet League Two season-opener at Northampton Town.Swiss youngster Sascha Studer starts in goal following an impressive pre-season campaign which saw him keep three clean-sheets in four matches.
Ritchie Sutton, John Dempster and Ryan Tafazolli are our back three, whilst Rob Taylor and Lee Beevers are at left-wing-back and right-wing-back respectively.
Adam Murray will skipper our team and he is partnered in midfield alongside new signing Simon Heslop, with fellow summer arrival Fergus Bell just infront of them.
In attack, Alex Fisher makes his debut and he is partnered by Ollie Palmer, who scored in a 1-1 draw at Sixfields Stadium last term.
