Open Day proves successful

4 August 2014

Fans flock to Mansfield Town F.C. to meet their heroes on day filled with family fun.

Yesterday’s annual Open Day at One Call Stadium has been hailed a great success.

Hundreds of fans took the opportunity to come down to the home of the Stags for a day of family fun with attractions including fairground rides, stalls and exclusive stadium tours.

The highlight of the day, however, was in the Kevin Bird Suite where our players took time out to sign autographs, pose for photos and meet supporters.

Over 100 supporters also enjoyed our fabulous behind-the-scenes ground tours which covered parts of One Call Stadium that aren’t usually seen by the public.

Chairman John Radford said: “I was really delighted to see so many supporters, both young and old, in attendance at our annual Open Day.

“There is a real ‘feel good’ factor around the town at present and it’s the best turnout we’ve had yet for such an event.”
