Youngsters meet Stags heroes during day of fun activities in Mansfield Library.
Last Friday saw our Football in the Community team visit Mansfield Library, where we hosted a Stags’ Summer Spectacular as part of the library’s summer project.Over 400 people attended the event and many participated in various activities such as playing football on our inflatable football pitch, and measuring their shot in miles per hour, via our speed radar gun.
The public even had the chance to meet members of our current squad including Simon Heslop, Fergus Bell, Alex Fisher and Sascha Studer.
Also in attendance were Stags legends Sandy Pate and Kevin Bird. Everyone was happy to sign autographs and have photos with supporters.
We would like to say a huge thank you to all players, past and present, who made the experience one to remember.
A massive thanks also goes to Marie Davis from Nottinghamshire County Council for organising the event.
