TRAVEL ADVICE

Roadworks

Supporters are advised to allow extra time for their journey, as we have been informed of roadworks at the Tesco/Casa Hotel roundabout.

Parking

Supporters should be aware that parking around the Proact Stadium is limited on matchdays.

Parking restrictions are in place on the adjacent retail park at the Asda, Tesco, Halfords, Wynsors and Iceland stores. Supporters should avoid parking here.

Furthermore, supporters are advised not to park in Nelson Street or Stanforth Street, as a ‘Residents Only’ parking scheme is in operation.

However, parking is available on a first come, first served basis at SimplyGym, which is directly opposite the stadium. Parking here will cost £4 per vehicle.

Supporters can also park at KM Furniture store, which is just a few minutes walk behind the away stand, for a small fee.

Service Buses

Supporters should be aware that the pronto buses, which serve Mansfield and Chesterfield, terminate at Chesterfield Coach Station in Beetwell Station.

This is approximately a 5-10 minute walk from Cavendish Street, where buses towards the Proact Stadium depart.

From Cavendish Street, there are regular services towards the Proact Stadium on the following buses: X17, 25, 43, 44, 44A, 50, 50A, 90, 90A.

By Train

Chesterfield mainline station is approximately a 25-30 minute walk from the Proact Stadium.

However, a taxi rank is situated directly outside the station. A one-way journey to the Proact Stadium usually costs about £6 and should take approximately 10 minutes.
