Mansfield Town

Paul Cox took time out from his busy schedule yesterday to open a new hair salon at Maun View residential care home in Mansfield.

The manager cut the ribbon along with Sid Watson, a resident at the care home, and former Stags wing half who made over 300 appearances for us between 1948-1961 (pictured).   

After trying out the new facilities himself, Cox had his hair washed and dried, before spending almost an hour chatting to residents and employees.

Brimming with delight at our manager's visit, Maun View manager Allison Riley said:  "Everybody at Maun View talks about Mansfield Town Football Club. It means the world to the residents. It's an honour [to have Paul here]."
