Manager Paul Cox has revealed that there is a grounded, level-headed nature within our squad, ahead of our trip to fierce local rivals Chesterfield this weekend.
Our team head to the Proact Stadium positioned in the Sky Bet League Two Play-Off zone, following their superb 3-0 victory over Northampton Town last Saturday.
Nevertheless, Chesterfield have also enjoyed a near-faultless start to the new campaign.
The Spireites have dropped just two points so far this term, and, as a result, are four points clear of their nearest rivals at the top of the table.
âWeâll be working extremely hard this week and weâll be giving it our all to try and get a result on Saturday,â said our boss.

âIâve got to be professional and look at (Saturdayâs) game as being just like any other, but I do understand what it means to the supporters.Â
âWeâve come a long way, very quickly. Weâre still learning and weâre still improving and itâs another tasty game for us.â
Cox continued: âThese players are giving everything to do well for this football club and thatâs all I can ask.
âTheyâre a grounded, level-headed bunch and they understand our strengths and weaknesses. Ultimately, theyâre a tight-knit group.
âThe lads understand what I want off them. As a group of people, the very least that we do is work extremely hard.â
In reflection to last Saturdayâs 3-0 win over Northampton Town, Cox added: Â âI thought that it was a very physical game and it took a lot out of us, both physically and mentally.Â
âSo weâve tried to âbuild the lads inâ this week. Weâll have tomorrow off to try and recuperate, and then have two good days (of training) before we kick-off against Chesterfield.â
