Our youth team were held to a 1-1 draw by Chasetown in the Football Conference Youth Alliance (Midland Division) last night.
Luke Thomas (pictured) opened the scoring for our side with a well-placed finish, but the hosts fought back and drew level prior to half-time.
We almost earned maximum points, however, as skipper Jack Thomas saw a late header cleared off the line.
At the other end, goalkeeper Harry Waldram superbly denied a Chasetown striker in a one-on-one, as the hosts also had their chances.
Our young guns remain top of the FCYA (Midland Division) table, which can be found here, having accumulated 10 points so far this term.
