October half-term activities
We are pleased to announce that we have arranged numerous activities as part of our October half-term Club, which will be running in a few weeks.
Details are as follows:
Dates: Monday 21 October – Friday 25 October
Venue: Mansfield Town F.C. (Community Room)
Time: 8:30am – 5:30pm
Ages: Children (6-14)
Every day, youngsters will be able to participate in several activities in our Community Room, which includes playing indoor sports games and computer games.
We have also got planned fun-filled coaching sessions, which will teach children the fundamentals of football in the form of game-related sessions.
50/50 Penalty Shoot-Outs
In recent weeks we have visited many schools in Mansfield, who are taking part in our 50/50 Penalty Shoot-Out competition.
Amongst the schools that we have visited are John Davies School and Samuel Barlow School, both of which were really pleased to spend time with us.
Robert Della-Spina, Head Teacher at John Davies Primary School, said of our visit: “Mansfield Town F.I.T.C worked with our whole school from Nursery through to Year Six.
“The way in which the coaches worked with our school has ensured that we will continue to work together each year.”
“I look forward to seeing Mansfield Town coaches again and I wish the club every success for the future.
“With community support, which is well developed at your club, I am sure you will have an excellent season.”
Angela Hirst, Head Teacher at Samuel Barlow Primary School, also added: “We wish to thank F.I.T.C for their efforts and professionalism, whilst working with children at our school.
“Everyone has praised the skills and adaptability of the F.I.T.C staff, and the children enjoyed the experience immensely.”
