Boss Paul Cox has confirmed that midfielder Chris Clements is making good progress, as he continues his rehabilitation from injury.
Clements, who has made five appearances so far this term, suffered medial knee ligament damage in our victory at York City last month.
Prior to that, the mercurial playmaker had formed an impressive partnership with Jamie McGuire in central midfield.
âHeâs not a million miles away [from a return],â said Cox.
âThe boy is running around again and has a big smile on his face, so heâs not that far off a comeback, but we donât want to rush him.
âItâll be nice to have him back and see his smile in the dressing room again, along with his ability on the pitch.
âEveryone knows what âClemâ gave us when he was in the side.â
