Everyone at One Call Stadium has been proud to learn that three members of our youth team squad have been chosen to represent the Nottinghamshire FA county side.
Strikers Ross Lamb and Kevin Hemagou, along with midfielder Chris Spencer, have all been selected to figure in the match against the Huntingdonshire FA this weekend.
The trio have all impressed this term, and have helped to fire our young guns to the summit of both the FCYA (Midland Division) and the H-K-L North Midlands’ League.
Lamb, who has been operating out wide, struck in injury-time in our 3-2 win over Solihull Moors on Wednesday, whilst Hemagou bagged a hat-trick in the 8-2 rout of AFC Mansfield in October.
Meanwhile, Spencer, who travelled with our first team squad to Malta in pre-season, grabbed the only goal of our 1-0 win at Blidworth Welfare in the H-K-L North Midlands’ League.
Nottinghamshire FA’s match with Huntingdonshire FA takes place at the Rowley Park Stadium in St Neots on Sunday.
