We take pleasure in confirming our pre-season trip to Malta this afternoon.
The squad will fly out on Tuesday July 02 and take part in a friendly match on Saturday 06 July, before returning to England on Tuesday 09 July. The opponents for the aforementioned friendly will be confirmed in due course.
Supporters are invited to follow the squad in Malta.
Chairman John Radford said: “This will be the club’s first ‘proper’ pre-season trip abroad.
“Many top clubs prepare for challenging seasons in hot-climates and I think this trip will be hugely worthwhile for Paul (Cox) and the whole squad ahead of our first season back in the Football League.
“It would be great to see as many Stags fans out there as possible for a week of almost-guaranteed sun and fine football.”
