Stags players who formerly played for Nottingham City boys returned to the City last week to present awards of outstanding achievement at Nottingham Schools’ annual presentation ceremony.
Anthony Howell and Ben Hutchinson gave up their time to hand out the awards at Ellis Guildford School on Thursday. First team coach Richard Cooper was also present, returning to his old school.
Each member of the five City representative teams received a team photograph. Special trophies were then given to the six children, who had been voted “Players’ Player of the Season” by their peers.
U15: Jack Gilchrist of Ellis Guilford, U14: Lethan O’Connor of Trinity, U13: Declan Dunn of Bulwell Academy, U12: Zayden Conroy of Nottingham University Samworth Academy, U11: Rasharn Altaf of Whitemoor Academy.
An audience of about 300 people also enjoyed a video production showing action from city team matches throughout the season.
