Murray thanks fans for snow-clearing job

23 January 2013

Adam Murray has thanked supporters who volunteered to clear snow from the training pitch this morning.

Seven fans turned up to remove the snow along with youth team players.

Supporters who attended were given a free executive hospitality pass for our next home game against Dartford, as a token gesture of our appreciation.

Assistant manager/captain Adam Murray said:  "It took us about three hours [to clear].  Everybody involved deserves a massive thank you from us.  The club is really appreciative if their efforts and it will give us a good area to work on now."

The club would also like to place on record our thanks to Andy Sutton of AS Plant for clearing our car parks with use of a JCB, as well as Ulylett Landscape who are set to grit the parking areas tomorrow.
