Lindon Meikle’s call up to the England C squad will help his development at One Call Stadium, manager Paul Cox has suggested today.
The flying wingman has been selected as part of a 16 man squad which will face Turkey at Princes Park, Dartford, earlier next month, where he looks set to gain his fourth cap.
Speaking to mansfieldtown.net, Cox said: “It’s positive news for the Football Club.
“Any young player who plays for their national side should continue to develop as a player.
“Lindon’s a proud lad and I know he’d walk over broken glass to play for his country.”
