Five changes for Cheltenham tie

29 December 2013

Manager Paul Cox has made five changes to his starting xi for today’s Sky Bet League Two match at Cheltenham Town.

At the back, Ryan Tafazolli replaces John McCombe at centre-back, whilst Ritchie Sutton is included in favour of Lee Beevers.

In midfield, Chris Clements is set to partner Jamie McGuire, who is captain, with Adam Murray rested following the Boxing Day loss at Rochdale.

Ross Dyer drops to the bench, with Calvin Andrew left out of the squad. They are replaced by James Jennings and Matt Rhead respectively.

Our side will line-up in a 3-5-2 formation.

Meanwhile, Cheltenham are unchanged – with influential midfielder David Noble having overcome a late fitness test.

Team: Marriott, Sutton, Riley, Tafazolli, Westlake, McGuire (C), Clements, Jennings, Howell, Palmer, Rhead. Subs: Deakin, Dempster, Beevers, Daniel, Meikle, Stevenson, Dyer.
