Preview: Stags vs Daggers

31 August 2013

Our side will be hoping to record their first home win of the campaign this afternoon, as we entertain Dagenham & Redbridge at One Call Stadium.

Both teams are unbeaten in three matches, and are separated by just two places in the Sky Bet League Two table.

TEAM NEWS:

Midfielders Anthony Howell and Keiron Murtagh could both feature in the match, having played a full 90 minutes in a behind-closed-doors friendly in midweek.

Our only definite absentee is goalkeeper Ian Deakin, who is still recovering from a shoulder injury.

RECENT FORM:

Both teams have accumulated five points from their first four matches in League Two this term.

Lindon Meikle’s equaliser earned us a hard-fought point in a thrilling draw with Portsmouth last Saturday, whilst The Daggers drew with Newport County on home soil.

PREVIOUS MEETINGS:

We have only met with Dagenham & Redbridge twice in our entire history, and both meetings occurred during the 2007/08 season.

The Daggers were 1-0 winners in North Nottinghamshire thanks to a strike from Shake Huke, before they beat us 2-0 on the final day of the campaign.

TICKETS:

Stags’ supporters will be able to buy tickets at the One Call Stadium Matchday Ticket Office, which will be open between 10.00am and 2.30pm.

Matchday prices are as follows:
