Duo ready for Darts test

26 October 2012

Defender Ritchie Sutton (pictured) is in confident mood ahead of tonight's trip to Dartford.

Sutton, who has already made over 50 league appearances since he arrived at the club from Port Vale last summer, is hopeful that we can surprise the high-flyers.

He said: “I’ve been there before when I played for Port Vale and they were a good team.”

“But we’ve just got to concentrate on our own game. If we can do what we usually do, I’m sure we can go there and give them a good challenge.”

“They had a bad result the other night in the FA Cup, so hopefully we can give them a kick while they’re down and get a positive result.”

Midfielder Anthony Howell also echoed Sutton’s sentiments.

Howell said: “We’ve got a great team and the personalities within it to deal with Dartford.”

“From what I’ve heard, it’s a small pitch and they battle hard. What I’m expecting is a tough battle, but if we can win there and win our next game, I think we’ll be right in the mix.”

Our visit to Princes Park will be screened live on Premier Sports TV (Sky 428).
