Stags’ reserves take on Bradford City reserves on Tuesday in a Central League clash (1.00pm kick-off).
The game was originally meant to be played at Rainworth Miners Welfare, but has since been moved to Brooksby Melton College, Leicestershire.
Stags’ reserves last played on Tuesday 17 April against Doncaster Rovers in a 1-1 draw.
Forward Jason Law opened the scoring in the game with a thunderous, first-time effort from outside the box, but Doncaster’s Robbie Miller equalised in the 52nd minute.
Mansfield had chances to win the game, but could take plenty of positives from a resolute defensive performance.
Stags currently sit in second place in the Central League North table, six points behind Port Vale, having played a game less. They stand nine points ahead of their next opponents, Bradford City, and have also played a game less.
Several first team players are expected to be called up for the clash due to the amount of under-18s and reserve games that Stags are set to play this week.
Stags’ title-winning under-18s will play twice during the week, and Mansfield reserves will wrap up their Central League season by the end of the week, as they play their final two games on Tuesday and Thursday respectively.
Following tomorrow’s game, Stags will take on Hartlepool reserves on Thursday for a 2.00pm kick-off at Victoria Park, TS24 8BZ.
