Stags’ under-18s will look to continue their recent impressive form on Saturday when they take on Chesterfield under-18s at the RH Academy (11am kick-off).
Mansfield’s last game saw them put seven past Huddersfield Town in an excellent performance at PPG Canalside last Saturday.
Rhys Sarson (2), Rio Molyneaux (2), Jimmy Knowles, Tyrese Sinclair and Jamie Chisholm were all on target for the Stags.
In the last game between Mansfield's young guns and Chesterfield, the amber and blue emerged as 3-1 victors, after a second-half comeback saw them overturn a one-goal deficit.
Chesterfield, who currently sit eighth in the table, have found points hard to come by of late, winning once in their last five games.
However, in their last match, they managed a point against league leaders Grimsby.
The Stags have not lost in their last three, scoring 11 goals in the process, and if results go their way, could move up to second in the table.
However, the visitors will be looking to overturn their recent form as they look to push themselves up the table.
