Sensory area
Our family room is home to a sensory area, used to help those who are prone to experiencing a sensory overload on a matchday.
Our sensory area is built especially for those who are prone to experiencing a sensory overload.
The sensory area consists of:
- A multi-infinity explorer panel, which produces lights and music that can be controlled and changed.
- Sensory bubble tubes, with mirrors behind to create the sense that there are multiple.
- Vibration bumpers across the back wall, which vibrate when leaned upon.
- Sensory football, which has a different texture to a regular football.
Since its inception, which was helped massively by a generous donation of £6,000 by the Stags Supporters' Association, the sensory area has been key in some families' matchday experience at One Call Stadium.
