In May 2023, Stags announced the permanent signing of striker Will Swan from Nottingham Forest for an undisclosed fee.
The Mansfield-born forward, who has previous experience in League Two with Port Vale, signed a three-year deal with the option of a further year.
The 22-year-old was the club’s top goalscorer in 2022/23, netting ten goals on loan from the Reds.
In the season prior, he netted 12 goals in 22 matches, with six assists, in Forest under-23s.
