An extremely juvenile youth side were defeated 2-1 at the hands of Boston United yesterday (Saturday) after throwing away a one goal advantage.

Only two second years started for a Stags side which largely consisted of first year scholars and U16's.

15 year old Connor Higginson broke the deadlock on the hour to give us the lead, but an own goal by Sam Deas and a lob over goalkeeper debutant Joe Ward was enough to gift the Pilgrims all three points.
