Stags release Season Tickets for 2010/11
The Board of Directors would like to thank your continued support and are excited to share the upcoming season with you.
"It is that time of the year when all football fans await the prices of the new season tickets. Our fans are no different from those around the country and expect value for money and honesty.
"Football has had a big wake-up call this year with the demise of several clubs, most notably Chester City in our own division and has to become more accountable for its own destiny.
"Last season the club offered a fantastic offer to the people of Mansfield with the lowest priced tickets we have seen in years. This was well received by the fans and we have averaged gates over 3000. However, due to the increased overheads and the loss of TV revenue, it left the club short of matchday revenue and us, as owners, have had to dig deep to pay the bills.
"With this in mind, it has been decided that prices had to rise in order to sustain a professional club in this town. There are still, however, great savings to be made on matchday prices and a chance to secure your regular seat with the early bird prices that are on offer until the end of April. These prices offer an average saving of up to 30% and are still good value for money and makes a great day out for all the family.
"On this point we now have a section in the lower Ian Greaves Stand that will only be available for those that want a family environment. This again is a small stride the club are making to improve the experience at Field Mill. We have also made the Quarry Lane End the cheapest stand in the stadium and this could end up being the New Kop End, where fans traditionally gather to cheer on the team.
"The club has come a long way in the last two years and we are working hard to achieve the ultimate goal of rising back into the Football League. We ask the fans to give us the same backing as they did last year and together we can rise from the ashes and continue to support our club."
We need you to play your part in the ongoing success of our football club so tell your mates, family, neighbours and work colleagues to take advantage of these discounted prices as we try and fill Field Mill next season to roar the lads on to gaining promotion to the Football League."
Let's make it a season you won't want to miss out on.
Renewals and purchases can be made by visiting the ticket office or phoning the club on 01623 482 482.
