Young stopper Tim Sandercombe has been added to the Mansfield Town ranks to provide competition for current number one Alan Marriott.
Sandercombe began his career at Plymouth Argyle but failed to make a first team appearance. He got his first taste for first team football during a month long loan spell at Tiverton Town where he played 4 times.
Upon his departure from Plymouth he signed for Notts County where he again failed to play for the first team in a solitary season at our Nottinghamshire rivals. His contract was terminated in 2008 and he joined Stafford Rangers where last season he played every game in the clubs Conference North campaign, earning rave reviews in the process.
