Steve Foster began his career with us in 1992, where he made five appearances before leaving to link up with George Foster at Telford.
He then furthered his career by playing for such clubs as Scunthorpe United, Bristol Rovers, Doncaster and Darlington.
Having chalked up 600 appearances in a career which has seen three promotions and an FA Trophy Final medal, Foster was seen as the ideal choice to be our new captain when he signed in the summer.
Foster is considered a hero amongst our fans and is a life-long fan of the club.
