Luke Foster has today left Field Mill by mutual consent.

The 24 year old made 16 starts for us since signing from Oxford United in January. 

Manager David Holdsworth told mansfieldtown.net:  "It's a practical decision for both the club and Luke.  We would like to wish him and his family all the very best for the future."

Meanwhile, the manager has announced that a new team captain will be considered during pre-season.
