Hot prospect Lee Gregory has today penned a new one year deal with us.

The 21 year old frontman has bagged 23 goals this season whilst on loan at Glapwell, Harrogate Town and more recently, Halifax.

After putting pen to paper he told mansfieldtown.net:  "I am very pleased to be signing.  The club looked after me last year and I know it will do the same this year.  It is a good club.

"Last season has been an experience for me and this year I will be hoping to push on."

Said boss David Holdsworth:  "I am delighted to secure Lee's services for a further year.  He is a bright prospect who has had a very good season whilst under our guidance in training. 

"I hope he can continue to progress at his current rate, under my guidance."

Gregory, a former electrician, was signed last summer from Staveley Miners Welfare.
